Here's pictures from my move to my new place in Tampa, Florida. Also posted some pictures of a bunch of my friends in the DC area I saw before leaving or who helped me move.

My friend Chris came with me and we had an amazingly long drive. The entire trip took us about 18 and a half hours. We stopped a couple of times though. We didn't leave until 11AM on August 1st and then arrived in Tampa at 530AM on August 2nd. Even though the trip was long...I had a blast. Very thankful that Chris came with me. Then I had an informal lunch meeting with Tom, his boss, and one of their co-workers. Needless to say I was tired at lunch. Tom's boss is the one I think wants to hire me. The lunch was mainly just to get to know each other because they really need somebody soon but they dont have time to meet me for the formal interview until August 9th. The lunch went pretty well and they seem like pretty cool people.

The only complaint about the trip was the uhaul truck. I will never ever rent from them again. Basically I reserved the truck and auto transport weeks in advanced but they never called me until August 1st when I had already left Virginia. I attempted to call them numerous times only to be told someone would call me back shortly...or the phone was busy. I ended up just going to a local uhaul store and got lucky one was available. We then came back to pick up the auto transport on July 29th to discover that the brake wires had been stripped and cut. We then had to use another transport...and attach everything ourselves because they were closed that day. When night time hit...we discovered that our reflectors and rear lights were not working. They would come on for 20 second periods and then shut off for awhile. We debated about waiting until day time but ended up just using our emergency lights whenever the lights would go out.
