Posting Video Content

Several people have asked me how I post my videos. Here's how:

I use either a DV Video Camera or DV Point-and-shoot camera
This creates a .avi file in DV format
I copy the .avi file to my computer and convert it to .wmv
The conversion will take a 4min video (normally 40MB) and compress it down to around 4MB
I use Windows Media Encoder - you can go here for the exact step-by-step process
Then I use either www.YouTube.com or www.Bolt.com to upload my video
Once the photos are uploaded, each site will give you code that I copy and paste onto a blog post
