I'm realizing how much work it is to keep a home in tip-top shape. Tom's house here in Tampa requires a lot of up-keep. I dont know how mom does it. Since I'm still jobless I've volunteered to help Tom around the house. I've been doing pool cleaning duty and getting a lot of sun. Today we also finally worked on the outside speakers. He's had speakers mounted outside since he moved in but they never worked. I went in the attic (and became drenched in sweat btw) and traced the cables. We then ran additional cables to hook up to Tom's stereo. Now we've got a laptop on wireless, hooked up to the stereo... and can play our mp3 collections on the network to the outside speakers while we're swimming. Very cool. Running the extra speaker wires we had to make a hole through the wall to the attic... but it's not noticeable. Creating that hole we were also able to use an outlet in the attic to power our new nite lite which is pretty funny. Here's pictures of the new living room nite lite:
